Tracks of Life

Every life has a soundtrack. On Tracks of Life, Jordan McGraw and Fabian Marasciullo talk to YOUR favorite musicians, actors, authors, producers, business moguls, and athletes to find out what songs they’ve put on theirs. This podcast isn’t about famous people’s favorite songs. Tracks of Life is about the songs that had a lasting impact on the most interesting people’s lives. Their Tracks of Life could be anything from the song they had on repeat in their first car to the soundtrack of their first breakup, their theme song for a crazy summer, a song that carried them through a rough time, their anthem for a big change in life... even that one song that just gets them pumped up before going on stage in front of an arena of screaming fans. If a song is important to them then it’s part of the story. Tune in each week to hop in a time machine with everyone from Pusha-T to Dr. Phil and find out which songs pushed them along through their journey.

Love this podcast, love Jordan.
Poor taste

I agree with Henry. Just because Daddy has the stage everyone in the family is out to make a buck. From the cosmetics on down. Dr. Phil gets a plug in every chance he gets so his wife or kids get a free commercial. I’ve decided to stop listening for that reason alone. And this music, if you can call it that is terrible...no one else would even get a notice.
Rude and disrespectful to the listener . Chasing $$ like his parents

Profanity is nothing more than poor manners and a sign of a poor upbringing. Using profanity does nothing more than make the speaker look low class and rude . “Cussing” makes most listeners feel uncomfortable and disrespected. It is really funny to wife beaters and frat boys, so I guess that is Little Dr Phil’s target audience. Shouldn’t this whole family be ashamed for riding the coat tails of Dr Phil who makes money by showcasing other people’s pain. They come off as greedy, insincere people with questionable intent. This kid should get a real job and stop playing around and pretending he is somebody special because Daddy’s famous. Very sad family, they all seem like they are constantly looking for a buck.

All you old folks complaining about them swearing need to lighten up. Go to church if you want to hear a sermon. They’re having real conversations with people about real stories. Just enjoy life a little bit... I love it, guys. Both of you. Phenomenal.
Cool idea however . . .

Do you have to use the f-word? I really thought it would be a mature, classy talk/music podcast.
Eh.

This is a cool concept but poorly executed. I don’t really care for Fabian (sp?) constantly saying “come on come on, I know you got something else” like I get you’re trying to move the conversation on and forward. I really do. But maybe actually having good conversation and segueing into the next song is how to do that. It’s just an abrupt and forceful way to move the show along and it grosses me out. Also, why not have snippets of the songs after their story? It would give the listener something to hear instead of pausing their podcast and turning on music. Maybe have a better set up. Ask better questions, have a blueprint. But seriously, if Fabian keeps being aggressive in interviews, I’m unsubscribing.

I thought I’d tune in because I listen to Dr. Phil’s, Phil in the Blanks podcast. I do have a suggestion about the podcast and a comment about that particular episode. You should play about 5-10 seconds of whatever song your guest or you both are discussing. That song may have been a defining moment in a listeners life too. Now for my comment..... i’m sure you’re trying to attract a younger crowd but I don’t think profanity adds anything to a podcast. Especially when it’s your father as the guest. Call me old school but I found it very disrespectful.
Loved it
