Elizabeth Hunter is Such a Versatile Author
Worlds Apart is a contemporary romance novella by Elizabeth Hunter. Sunny was a sheltered actuary who had travelled some but only to Europe with family. She embarked on a trip to Kenya to visit a college friend. Martin was co-owner of the safari camp where Sunny’s friend worked. He didn’t usually interact much with guests, but had agreed to act as a guide that week due to the request of a frequent visitor. He was immediately entranced by Sunny, who was very different from other women he had met. The two act on their mutual attraction and despite the barriers, they were determined to try to make a long distance relationship work. Will the realities of a relationship between two people living halfway around the world be too much to overcome? I found Sunny and Martin both to be slightly awkward and entirely endearing. The book was a testament to the ways that love can change our life plans. I have now reviewed this author’s work on four occasions and each was a very different type of book. I am continually impressed by her versatility and the variety of stories that she can invent. This was a short, sweet but spicy story that was a breath of fresh air. I definitely recommend it for readers of contemporary romance. I am voluntarily submitting this honest review after ending an advanced complementary copy of this book thanks to Valentine PR and Recurve Press, LLC.
