The app takes forever to open and sometimes doesn’t open at all. Every time I open the app I find out that I’ve been logged out. Whenever I go to place a hold for a book, I have to scroll all the way down the list to find my library—it won’t default to my library even though I had to select it when logging in. Searching for books is painful compared to the previous version of the app. Is it that hard to make an app that works? Who’s doing QA on this thing?
It's trying...
I use this app daily, and it's gotten worse since this overhaul. It constantly kicks me out and I have to select my library every single time I have to log back in. Finding items is also more difficult some how? I used to be able to type in a title, but now it's for some reason easier to find things by author. It feels like this app is trying to be good reads and a library app in one, and I kind of miss the simplicity of the old app.
It use to be good…
I am a huge lover of our libraries and have always enjoyed using the app, easy and simple. Now, it’s way too busy, very slow and crashes a lot. Not to mention it keeps signing me out and have to fetch my library card and password constantly. Sometimes simpler is better. This new app is a pain. You get the same features when you sign in on a computer, which is nice for reference but it’s way too much for a simple app though.
