Family First is a book appetizer …. First book in three of the author’s series (Montgomery, Shaughnessy, and Donovan)

Wait for Me is a classic Samantha Chase book!

It's got the familiar Montgomery characters, Emma who is strong, looking for love, and in love with Lucas, and Lucas who, as he's coming to grips with a career-ending injury, is slowly realizing that everything he's ever really wanted and needed is right under his nose!

... but it's more than all that! There are family dynamics, hopes and dreams, and facing life's disappointments. This book is a favorite on my re-read shelf because when I read it, I can escape and feel good (...a twofer!)

If you are a Samantha Chase fan and haven't read this book, download now. If you are new to Ms. Chase, start here, but prepare yourself to let life go and be attached to your reading device! This is book 1 of the Montgomery Brothers series, which is one of my favorite series.

Made for Us features Aiden and Zoe. Aiden is the one everyone relies on in the uber successful members of the Shaughnessy family. Aiden has spent the time since his mother died keeping himself busy and holding himself and everyone around him to a super high standard.

Zoe Dalton is focused on the job she was hired to do … she’s ambivalent about Aiden’s position and is determined not to let him get in the way of success. … The sizzle and chemistry grows until a hurricane bears down on them.

Dare Me by Samantha Chase, is a fabulous start to her series, The Donovans. If you’ve read any of Ms. Chase’s stories, particularly those in a series, you know she writes realistic girl and boy next-door romances set in small towns with a storyline that pulls you in and has you checking the map to see if the town just might be real!

Dare Me is one more example of why Ms. Chase is a master at the slightly steamy, super sweet small town romance.

Arianna and Will have a chance meeting … and then another … and then finally another. They each left the first meeting with a sizable crush, but Will didn’t follow up on it because his best friend, Arianna’s brother, let his protective streak be known.

But their both in the Donovan’s town … resorting to a bit of subterfuge and creativivity to keep their romance under wraps and away from the prying eyes of her meddlesome family who’ve decided that Will is perfect for Arianna’s sister!

Dare Me has strong themes of family, taking chances … and challenges of dares … and truths.

Wait For Me
Emma & Lucas we’re adorable! I loved how William prodded them along, although I wish he had been a little more remorseful since Emma got hurt. I never expected the drastic career change, but it was sweet nonetheless.
Made for Us
Aiden and Zoe get the series started! Aiden is pretty much a big ol’ jerk to everyone, but somehow Zoe gets past his defenses. He manages to screw everything up, but also figures out how to change and make it all up to her.
Dare Me
The queen of truth or dare meets the marine on his last year in the military. Arianna and Will have one perfect day together in San Francisco before they head home, but when Will figures out that she is his best friend’s little sister, he ghosts her thinking he was protecting her from family disapproval. One year passes and when Will goes home with Liam, the sparks fly again. I loved reading how these two navigate the family to get together in the end.

This is a great collection of books that Samantha Chase has put together. The first book in each of her series which cover The Montgomery’s, The Shaughnessy’s and The Donovan’s. This is a perfect place to start if you are new to this author or even if you want a re-read of where everything began. These are all great stories from Lucas and Emma in Wait for Me to Aidan and Zoe in Made for Us and finally Arianna and Will in Dare Me. What a fun collection of books to get to know the families that this author has written about that so many of us have fallen in love with.
