Read by accident. Waiting at hospital. I’m a guy so I probably wouldn’t have read it normally. The story was interesting and kept me wondering what next. Interesting characters and plot. However, was disappointed that after the lead characters had their sexual tryst his loss of ability to speak without using the word seemed somewhat out of place. Prior that time he didn’t use profanity. I’m not shocked in the almost complete character change just disappointed
Ice Falls - Book 1
This book was an addictive page turner in the most fantastic small town setting. It’s beautifully written, witty and was completely entertaining. Sam and Molly have amazing chemistry, sass and charm with a nice slow burn. I love the romance, drama, adventure and suspense storyline, unsure of what was going to happen next. I am thrilled there will be another book in this series. I am ready and waiting!

This is an incredible and exciting start to a new series. Friends, Molly, Lila, Charlie and Ani are an interesting and diverse group of women who have a very special bond. It is because of this bond that Molly, a New York lawyer in designer shoes goes in search of Lila, one of her best friends and the gifted free spirit in the Alaskan wilderness. It is in Molly's travels to the spectacular Firelight Ridge, she encounters the self contained, abrupt and sexy pilot Sam. You can tell from their verbal exchanges that they have met their match and their story is going to be a really, really good one.
In Firelight Ridge, you will encounter the quirky and peculiar residents that take care of their own and when one of them dies tragically, there are a lot of questions. This drama is the tip of the iceberg in the remote town and Molly and Sam don't back away from finding the answers. It is exciting with twists and turns that keep you hooked looking for the answers, justice and seeing if Molly and Sam have a future.
I love these characters, the beautifully depicted town, the romance and the promise of more to come for this group of close friends.
