Publisher Description
My boss. My enemy.
I escaped my life. Leaving everything behind wasn’t easy, but I did it. I turned the page and flew over the ocean.
This is my new beginning. My new chapter. My new book.
Or so I hoped before I met my new boss. Daniel Sterling. Rich as sin, illegally attractive, and the face of every magazine cover. Oh, and the reason why I escaped in the first place.
I made his high school life hell. He won’t stop until he gives me a taste of my own medicine.
Empire of Hate is a complete stand-alone. No other books should be listened to prior to this.

See AllTension filled read!
Empire of Hate is book #3 in the Empire series. Each book is a standalone. This was my first book by Rina Kent and definitely won’t be my last! Possible TW warnings for readers.
Daniel and Nicole’s book will take you on an emotional and gut wrenching ride. Enemies to lovers vibe packed with heat, unresolved feelings and so much sexual tension. I think Shane East and Christy Woods did an amazing job portraying Dan and Nicole.
Empire Of Hate
Bravo, Rina! I wasn't sure how this book was going to come together. But I was so happy with how it did. This story is the epitome of enemies to lovers. It's my favorite trope and it was done so well in this story. Loved Daniel & Nicole's story! Shane East & Christy Woods did an amazing job narrating.
This series is everything
Again, Rina Kent has captured my attention with her Empire series. This dark and wonderful enemies to lovers story had me from the first chapter and I just couldn't stop listening. Daniel and Nicole have known each other all their lives. Their push pull, love-hate relationship started when they were young, and hasty decisions left them separated. Now years later, and life changing circumstances now finds the once well off Nicole looking for employment. Finding a job, she begins her day to find her nemesis, Daniel to be her boss. And our fun begins. The hate-love between these two creates a well formed banter, both cruel and funny at times. Nicole has matured over the years, but her heart is still that young girl that loves Daniel and just wants him to love her back. Daniel holds a grudge worse than a girl, and works off of his pain and hurt. These two have an incredible story, full of bad decisions, unfortunate circumstances and an underlying love that just needs to come out. Add in a little brother that is not only smart, but funny, adding a bit of levity to some otherwise questionable situations. It's a fantastic listen, and an amazing addition to the series.
To make this even better, we have Shane East and Christy Woods reading it to us! These two are a fabulous team, creating a world easy to fall into. East plays the broody, formidable Daniel with contempt, pain and love. He pulls out all the stops for this one, giving us every layer of Daniel. Woods is new to me, and paired with East, she compliments his style. She falls into the character of Nicole and gives us every feeling she goes through, breaking our hearts and then repairing them. It's an amazing team for this incredible story.
