Episode 65: Empowerment in Parenthood: Ginelle Krummey on Balancing Work and Breastfeeding

On this episode, I host Ginelle Krummey. She provides individual and couples' therapy in traditional weekly formats and customized individual therapy retreats. We share deeply about our journey as mothers and a population of people who don't get much visibility in popular culture - breastfeeding breadwinners. The conversation drills down into how under-expressed and under-supported the struggles of parents, and mothers specifically, truly are.

Be sure to check out Ginelle’s individual therapy retreat day designed specifically for tBreastfeeding Breadwinner's at  https://www.breastfeedingbreadwinners.com/general-8

She’s also offering a freebie to listeners of the show called the Dollars & Senses Worksheet. It's a tool that clinicians can use to reflect on the past year of their practice finances and set intentions for the upcoming year. Not the target audience, but still enjoyable!

I am clearly not the target audience for this podcast, but still found the content to be interesting and relatable. Nicely done.

Super helpful podcast for moms in private practice

I deeply appreciate Ashley’s wisdom and guidance as she normalizes the challenges inherent in running a business while parenting. She also provides so many helpful tips and tricks on networking and other business aspects that I have always found to be difficult. Most of all, listening to these podcasts makes me feel less alone in the struggle and often overwhelming realities of trying to succeed in a system that is not set up for supporting mothers.
