This feel-good medical romance gave us a serious case of butterflies. Briana is the chief of emergency medicine at her hospital, but her personal life is in shambles. A year after separating from her cheating husband, she’s living in her old childhood home and taking care of her sick brother as he waits to find a kidney donor. Things get even more stressful when a new, distressingly handsome doctor joins the team, although the two quickly develop a lifesaving friendship. We loved Abby Jimenez’s characters. Their imperfections and insecurities—from Briana’s trust issues and inability to keep a plant alive to Jacob’s struggles with anxiety—make them feel so real and relatable, even though they’re trauma doctors. Yours Truly is a heartwarming, fun, and sensitive read about finding the courage to believe in love.
