Second chance at love
So, first off, there are a lot of readers who recommend reading the prequel to this story, False Start before starting this book. I didn’t, and it honestly wasn’t an issue when it came to enjoying YHYCLB or understanding the conflict between Lee and Shayna. I actually read it after this one, and it kind of affected how I saw the characters.
I enjoyed the book and am excited to be diving into another Piper Rayne series. The players we’ve been introduced to so far will all make great MMCs, but I confess that I’m most anxious for Chase, lol. He’s the antithesis of Lee.
Lee does a lot of groveling in this book. He made a big mistake in college, not going to lie. But he’s trying to make amends to Shayna, who can’t decide if she is going to continue hating Lee like she has for the past 8 years, or get horizontal with him. I tried not to choose sides, but I did. I’ll let other readers choose their own favorite.

Totally in love with this series! The characters are fun and playful and sweet and sass and the chemistry is off the charts!
Its the perfect book to get wrapped up in and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
I loved the narrators in this one they totally brought the characters to life!
