KRACK

KRACK

For those who haven’t been following along, Lenny Tavárez has been on a lengthy campaign in the lead-up to this full-length moment. Over the course of three seasonal drops comprising about a dozen tracks, the Puerto Rican reggaetonero steadily assembled the project that became KRACK. With his days in the duo Dyland & Lenny well behind him, the body of work he’s compiled here reflects his maturation as a solo artist, albeit one with a natural gift for collaboration. Much like his voice has graced posse cuts galore in recent years, he in turn gathers an impressive array of Latin music talents—from Nicky Jam on the perreo standout “Imagínate” to Rauw Alejandro on the slow jam “Kush”—to join in the fun. Looking to rekindle the embers of prior hits, he reunites with hitmaking companion Dalex for the R&B-infused “Discípulo” and producer Dímelo Flow on multiple cuts, including opener “Me Enamora.” Overall, Tavárez delivers an addictive set of tracks set to ignite the coming summer.
