Publisher Description
Opposites attract when a good girl with a "perfect" life meets a bad boy with nothing to lose in this New York Times bestselling steamy romance.
When Brittany Ellis walks into chemistry class on the first day of senior year, she has no clue that her carefully created "perfect" life is about to unravel before her eyes. She's forced to be lab partners with Alex Fuentes, a gang member from the other side of town, and he is about to threaten everything she's worked so hard for-her flawless reputation, her relationship with her boyfriend, and the secret that her home life is anything but perfect.
Alex is a bad boy and he knows it. So when he makes a bet with his friends to lure Brittany into his life, he thinks nothing of it. But soon Alex realizes Brittany is a real person with real problems, and suddenly the bet he made in arrogance turns into something much more.
Neither Brittany nor Alex is prepared for the most surprising chemical reaction of all--love.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Things get explosive both in and out of the lab in this emotionally charged romance set in Chicago. Cheerleader Brittany seems really together on the outside, but she’s carrying the pain and turmoil of a toxic home life. Alex, a kid from a much tougher neighbourhood, has joined a street gang to protect his family. When they’re paired up as lab partners, the seniors find themselves drawn to each other like magnets. Author Simone Elkeles puts a contemporary spin on Romeo and Juliet—and she doesn’t shy away from the dangerous consequences that a star-crossed romance can produce. With a realistic blend of starry-eyed romance, witty humour, and relatable teen angst, Perfect Chemistry is a complex and powerful read.

Excellent work!
Even after I’ve read over 100 books of this genre, Perfect Chemistry remains my all time favorite. Not likely to change the status.
Absolutely love
This is one book I will forever read on repeat , the whole trilogy. I got super attached to the characters so I did cry. But this book is definitely 10/10 👍🏽
The best book!
I read this book in 2010 when I was in 10th grade as part of an assignment for my English class. Little did I know I was going to fall in love with this book. I still remember the details of this novel, 11 years later. I couldn’t put it down and I read it within a week, or possibly less than that. This is a MUST read!
