Paid too much $8.99
This book would have been nice without Zia’s immaturity. Even the author had Artair mention that she did what she pleased without thinking of the consequences and his mother made a comment about her stubbornness. Not a great quality in a person and it certainly does not make for a good read. All her talk about passion and wanting to change him but expecting him to or demanding that he accepts her as is. I wanted to knock her upside the head. I skipped a lot. I’m not so sure about the next book. The first was good.
Elementary
I hate to write a bad review, but this book was so bad I couldn't finish it. I am an avid reader and have read dozens and dozens of highlander novels. The writing in this book was so shallow and the characters so under developed it seemed it was aimed at about a junior high school level.
