Tim Miller has brought new life to the Bulwark
I loved Charlie, but Tim Miller has brought a new refreshing life to The Bulwark Podcast. Tim is not only smart and witty, but he is attempting to bring in a multitude of perspectives to the table, even ones that he disagrees with. He is working to channel curiosity and constructive dialogues, that helps us better understand the political landscape we’re currently living in, not just double down on the rage machine.
Great Podcast
Sadly, this election is over. I’m kind of shock you don’t see this. Sure Biden could win, but that is highly unlikely. Biden needs a miracle; Trump just needs the inevitable folly of history.
Inflation is poison for an incumbent, then add on immigration, third party(s). This is far worse than 2016. Dems are in la la land. Their coalition spans from AOC to Liz Cheney, unmanageable. Simon Rosenberg is working with off year election data. Rosenberg will be proven a genius or the village idiot. Trumpers don’t swarm to the election booth unless Fat Donnie is on the ballot. Biden is struggling in his home state of Pennsyltucky, cmon man. Biden cannot win 270 EC votes, because he will lose one or two of the three states he needs i.e., PA, WI, MI
Right now Dems are in the phase known as denial phase to be followed by the prison rape phase, run for your lives.
In my opinion, Tim Miller isn’t working out
Loved the podcast when Charlie Sykes hosted. No longer listen now that Tim Miller hosts it. Miller decided to make radical changes to the show pretty much immediately. These changes have so altered the podcast that it’s no longer recognizable as The Bulwark.
I get it: he loves to debate the crazy. But the appeal of The Bulwark (for me) always rested on the fact that it offered a momentary *respite* from the crazy; an idiot-free zone. Well, so much for that! Also, he just lacks the gravitas and humility of Charlie Sykes. Anyway, so long Bulwark. RIP. All good things come to an end.
