Publisher Description

Still reeling from her divorce, Joss Murphy flees to Banjo Bend, Kentucky, where she'd been safe and happy as a child. The family farm is now a campground. Weary and discouraged, she talks owner Ezra McIntire into renting her a not-quite-ready cabin.

With PTSD keeping him company, Ez thrives on the seclusion of the campground. The redhead in Cabin Three adds suggestions to his improvement plans, urging color and vibrancy where there was none.

Neither is looking for love, yet the attraction they share is undeniable. Can the comfort of campfires, hayrides, and sweet kisses bring these two lost souls together?

Ez and Joss

When Jocelyn leaves Dolan Station after her divorce, she ends up at the campground in Banjo Bend where she spent her summers, when the property was her grandparent’s. The property now has cabins and camping sites. Ez bought the property and hopes to be successful with it. This book has several interesting characters that I hope to read more about in future books, hint, hint. I won’t leave any spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens with Ez and Jocelyn.

Wonderful, mature romance

Liz Flaherty never fails to move me with her heartfelt romances. I loved this story, plus I was very happy that the main couple were both in their 40's and had a mature outlook and plenty of life experience.

Both Joss and Ez have suffered serious disappointments and are trying to figure out how to move forward. Ez, a veteran, suffers from PTSD after some traumatic experiences both in war and at home. He bought a campground/vacation cabin rental place to create a retreat and a place to heal, both for himself and others. Joss spent years married to a man who never valued her and expected her to conform to his wishes while never bending at all to hers. To top it off he had an affair with and is now married to her sister. In order to figure out what she wants in her life, Joss retreats to the one place she was happiest, her grandparents' old farm, now a campground/resort cabin rental.

Although they initially get off on the wrong foot, it's not long before Joss and Ez are getting to know each other and the more they do, the more they are mutually attracted to each other. From there, it's not long before a beautiful romance develops, as Joss starts to grow roots in the place where she longed to return to, and Ez finally starts to heal the wounds in his soul. This book both tugged my heartstrings and made me smile.
