This was a great book. I loved the characters!
River + Lola
I can’t believe this is the last Thunderbolts book! I have loved this hockey series with small town vibes so much. Gina has become one of my instant read authors because of it. She has teased us with Lola’s story since book one and it was so fitting to get it as the ending. River’s character development from his first appearance with Maisy and the muffins was perfect. Getting to see what made him so closed off and feeling his struggles to feel loved has made him one of my favorite in the series. I loved Lola from the jump and her proving you can be a mom and a career you are passionate about was everything.

I enjoyed this book as the 6th in the series. It has all the emotional roller coaster feels I needed for a good read. River is a broken, grumpy kind of guy who is beyond private about his personal life. Lola is the daughter of one of his teammates and a college senior who is determined to graduate with the little amount of time she has left of college. They meet with major sparks and after spending the night together things change. This was a great book with all the feels.
