Publisher Description

They call me the villain. The screw up. The rock cliche that broke up the band.

My nights are whiskey, women, repeat. My days are tabloid headlines.

I’m on a crash course to nowhere.

Now my best friend's little sister is standing on my doorstep, begging for my spare bed and my secrecy.

But the Hannah staring back at me is far from the little girl I remember.

She's got ghosts. I've got demons. We both know her big sister's the reason I'm sitting at rock bottom.

Letting Hannah stay is a terrible idea. But aren't those my specialty?

Viper is an emotional friends to lovers rockstar romance that can be listened to as a standalone.

Fantastic and emotional listen

Wes is a hot mess, spiraling and needs to get his life in order. An unexpected visitor helps him see the person he can be and he helps her find her way.

Hannah is dealing with her own issues and needs a place to hang low for awhile. She picks a place that no one will expect to find her. Although unexpected, she helps her roommate see his talent, goodness and how deserving he is to be successful.

A beautiful romance between two broken people who help one another find their way, live their dream and become the best of themselves.

Joe Arden delivers a fantastic performance. He brings perfect emotion voice and personality to each of the characters.

Excellent Story & Narration🎧 Intense & Emotional!

This is an excellent rock star romance, a best friend’s sister, friends to lovers romance and second chance of getting it right. This book picks up after the second book of the series, “Tracing Holland”, each book in the series features different lead characters, but characters crossover into each other’s lives and books. Wes Alton, an angsty rock star with anger issues who burns his bridges with his bandmate, writing partner and friend, Holland Drake. This book follows Wes after that fallout and his life continues to spiral out of control, and while Holland wants to make it work, Wes is not sure he can or if he wants to. He makes poor choices, getting lost in booze and women, and finds himself in bed with the wrong woman, one who has her own agenda and one that will anger his father even more. Then Hannah, Holland’s younger sister, becomes a fixture in his life and is having a crisis of her own, and you would think these two would be bad for each other, but on the contrary. It was really hard to like Wes, but he redeems himself, a little at a time at first and by the end, completely. I loved the complexity of the story and the characters, their growth and development is absolutely amazing, as are the writing, plot and world building. Stiles puts these characters thru the wringer and makes them work for to get it right and their happily every after. There is never a dull moment in this story and it has plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Aly Stiles, thank you for this amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧And for fantastic narration, Joe Arden does an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. He performs the voices for all the characters, giving each their own unique voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. His portrayal of each character is spot on, and I love how he takes each role and makes it his own. And his Wes, wow, he plays the angsty, tormented rock star like a pro and has you feeling his pain, anger and torment and he was just as amazing as Hannah and all the rest of the characters. Arden is a versatile voice artist and his narration enhances this already fantastic story to another level. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.
