According to Matthew's Gospel account, the Holy Family fled to Egypt to escape King Herod’s wrath. Most Christian apologists believe Jesus, his Mother Mary, and his adoptive father Joseph probably remained in Egypt for several years, until the death of Herod the Great.

I recently heard a provocative defender of Christianity say, “put aside your Marvel characters and dedicate yourself to honoring the Blessed Saint JOSEPH, the earthly father of Jesus. He is the perfect example of what a REAL man and courageous HERO should be.”

    95. Enough Faith to Be an Atheist?

    95. Enough Faith to Be an Atheist?

The concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical to many. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable.

TukeyBird ,

Fair balance

Mark tackles a large task of balancing the historical aspects of the life of Christ with the faith of Christians. There is so much content and to find a balance is tough - Mark does an admirable job!

Joseph Pascone ,

Interesting topic!

This show is a great way to explore religious scripts with respect to documented history. It’s a huge subject to tackle, and I look forward to hearing more!

NomdeGuerra ,

Great Perspective

I enjoy this podcast because Mark gives us a wide variety of perspectives on his podcast. He challenges me to think in different ways, not just the way I believe. I especially enjoy that Mark has on Garry Stevens!
