In this episode, Dr. John & Donte Hudson sit down with Jalen Boyd, 2011 graduate of Loy Norrix High School and 2018 graduate of Western Michigan University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He also earned his master’s in Medical Science at Northwestern University. Jalen is now a Physician Assistant in the Division of Endocrinology at Cook County Health. Jalen talks with Dr. John about the appeals process to receive his Promise, the post-secondary institutions he attended, and how this journey landed him into his current career.
