Its ask me to update ios 17 when iphone x doesn’t support, i can’t login 😢
I am writing to express my feedback regarding the HDFC Bank mobile app. Recently, I encountered an issue where the app prompted me to upgrade to iOS 17, despite the fact that my device does not support this operating system version. This has caused inconvenience and confusion as I am unable to proceed with the upgrade, yet the app insists on it.
As a loyal customer of HDFC Bank, I rely on the mobile app for various banking activities, and such errors undermine the user experience. I understand the importance of software updates for security and functionality enhancements, but it's crucial for the app to accurately assess the compatibility of my device and provide appropriate guidance.
I kindly request your team to address this issue promptly and ensure that future app updates consider the compatibility of users' devices. Additionally, it would be helpful to receive clarification or guidance on how to proceed in situations where an upgrade is not feasible due to device limitations.
Upgrade lacks many old features
Not sure why this upgrade was needed, especially when there are fewer features as compared to the earlier app. Some of the issues: (1) The UPI VPA is the mobile number by default and you cannot create analphanumeric address like xyz@pz; (2) scan and pay used to feature credit cards earlier but it now forces you to choose UPI or RuPay cards only. It doesn’t recognize HDFC’s own Visa credit cards. Just making the app look slick isn’t good enough if it doesn’t work properly. Hope someone takes these issues seriously and fixes these flaws.
