Series fans and new readers alike will be invested in the godly politics but will have to be patient to see this couple at their best.

Keeps getting better
I have to say I loved this book more than the first!! The different stories being told throughout, and how they all tie into Hades fight for Persephone were well thought out. Truly captured his emotions and struggles. I also can’t say this enough, but I LOVE all the supporting characters. Hecate and Hermes are by far some of the best supporting characters I’ve read and would love to read stories about them! Maybe like a collection of short stories from other gods. Can’t wait to also read about Aphrodite and Hephaestus, their relationship is very intriguing.
A Game Indeed
I love being in Hades head just as much as I do Persephone. You can see how he plays the game behind the Gods, protecting Persephone and how her loving him is making him greater. The book is AMAZING it blends with a Touch of ruin, no more wondering why he was absent before. I encourage you to get lost in the underworld, you can tell a lot is heading our way with the other Gods and the anticipation built here is fantastic. As always Queen Scarlett delivers flawlessly can’t wait to read more of Daddy Death.

I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH … such a fan of how beautifully this love story is told. I love being able to grasp the love, drama, turmoil, hurt, confusion, and lust from different view points of the main characters I honestly think that’s what makes this series so good!
