VAMOS with Herc Gomez. Guest, Nicholas Gioacchini 05/09/24, Presented by Michelob ULTRA
“Promotion and relegation play a big part in European soccer. If you lose your games at the end of the season, your club goes down (…) There's no chance for playoffs next season, it's a lot at stake, and a lot more adrenaline to the sport than what I felt in the MLS”
Nico Gioacchini joins Herc this week from the beautiful city of Como in Italy, an insightful conversation with this eloquent guy, speaking on all things football, his time playing in St-Louis, what it's like to play at Como 1907 in the Italian Serie B, and his upbringing in all parts of the world.

The First & the Best
I do hate that your use of Diddy’s ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ to describe Arsenal in the last episode.. otherwise top tier..
Rory Smith = Gold
It’s captivating when Rog and Rory are together. Best episodes by far. European Nights is a history lesson with laughs. I feel I take a cheap vacation to a new European city each week all the way from Reno, Nevada. I’ve learned so much and love Rory breaking down Premier League too. Make Rory a mainstay Rog.

Apparently Davies is Gone
I’ve been wondering if Michael Davies’ absence from the flagship show was temporary or permanent. I gather from an online story that it is permanent. How very sad. It seems it is time to unsubscribe and put this podcast behind me.
