Lil Reese

About Lil Reese

Chicago rapper Lil Reese is a pioneer of his city’s drill music scene who famously appears on Chief Keef’s 2012 breakout anthem “I Don’t Like.” • Lil Reese is from Chicago’s South Side. After a few years of rapping, he earned widespread attention by guesting on “I Don’t Like.” • As drill music exploded, Lil Reese signed to Def Jam Records in the early 2010s. However, he split from the label in the middle of the decade without having released an album. • As an independent artist, Reese released several projects, including 2015’s Supa Savage on Keef’s Glory Boyz Entertainment. • Throughout his career, Reese has worked closely with fellow South Side native and onetime Def Jam labelmate Lil Durk.
