With their gypsy-like guitar rock and Suryakant Sawhney's dreamlike lilt, Peter Cat Recording Co. have been selling out indie venues since their 2011 debut, Sinema. But the five-piece have always been a band of musical outlaws, as proven by their incendiary new album, Bismillah. "Where The Money Flows" is a definite highlight: ostensibly a political critique, the track sees a space-rock hum grow into an ode to anti-capitalism with Sawhney's earnest vocals and mournful, jangly guitar.
