Description
Weatherly is a simple and elegant solution for seeing the current weather right from your desktop's menu bar. Customize the menu bar to show current conditions, temperature, "feels like" temperature, or humidity. The app uses your current location to provide incredibly accurate forecasts. An essential app for every Mac owner.
Weatherly provides the following features:
- Current temperature and weather, based on your location
- Choose your favorite weather provider; Apple Weather (previously Dark Sky), Visual Crossing, or OpenWeather
- Hourly and 7-day forecast
- Display temperature as either Fahrenheit or Celsius
- Automatically start the app on system startup
- Frequent updates (every 10 minutes)
- Add multiple locations
Please note - A subscription is required to access the features of the app. Weatherly is a monthly or yearly subscription-based application which includes a 7-day free trial. These subscriptions support the monthly fees associated with accessing high quality weather data.

Handy
I like having weatherly in my top menu bar. Its so handy to be able to glance up and see the temperature- i just wish it would open when i startup my computer instead of me having to go in and open the app every time.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the app! You can enable starting the app automatically via the Preferences menu which can be found in the top-right corner (small down arrow). Within Preferences check “Start on system startup” and you should be good to go!

This app is misleading
The app is listed as having "in app purchases." Yet, you are confronted with a landing page that asks for subscription money. Subscription money to a app! This app should not be on the App Store.
UPDATE: The dev says that there's a "recurring costs of access to high quality weather data" but national weather agencies provide weather data for free.

The application includes in-app purchases which is the subscription that you’re referring to. This is a subscription based app which includes a seven day free trial. The reason for subscriptions is due to the recurring costs of access to high quality weather data.
