Customer Reviews
Great pod, but…
I’ve adjusted down to 4 stars from 5 for audio quality. You’d think the huge telecom that owns Sportsnet would be able to handle this aspect the best. In terms of the information Elliotte is by far the best in the league in terms of quality, quality and integrity, I get that means he needs to be constantly on the phone at all hours and so remote reporting from the street is necessary, but get him some better hardware! Jeff’s connection always seems to be out of sync with the pod/broadcast, even when he talking to guests who connect remotely on their phone which you’d think would be the weak link - which leads to Jeff frequently “stepping” on Elliotte’s sentences as well as their guests. They’re the best though so they really don’t need to have better audio but I find myself rewinding a lot to figure out what’s being said. Still my all time fave pod.
Much needed upgrade
Wow, so nice to be more centred around NHL and not the Leafs… Love Jeff but I miss JB & Stewie with him. Podcasts with 1 host just aren’t my preference. Audio volume needs to be turned up on Jeff’s mic. Seems like he whispers in the mic a lot and make it really hard to hear. Jeff’s volume vs Elliotte’s is drastically different. Good show
Not for me - Mostly Maple Leafs
For Maple Leafs fans. If you are, this is probably a great pod for you!
