If you are a woman seeking funding, this podcast is for you. You will learn about the various ways to get funded, meet guests who you can connect with, learn how to overcome obstacles, and discover how funding can be made simple for female founders to understand and to access.
Host Catherine Gray is a Film Producer, Author and Tedx Speaker and champions the funding of women who are tremendously underfunded- receiving less of 2% of venture capital funding.
Each week the show has on guests that are female angel investors and general partners who are women that have started their own fund- and have a focus on funding women, LGBTQ and Bipoc. She also showcases women business owners who are seeking funding.
The show is all about education and connection- providing investment resources for women looking to launch or scale their business.
Listeners are female entrepreneurs who want to connect with resources- which can include funding, coaching, accelerators, mentorship, events and more.

Catherine is producing a movie to raise awareness about the underfunding of women and how you can be a part of the solution. She is on a mission to encourage more women to become angel investors and fund managers, and to accelerate the funding of diverse women across the U.S. and around the globe.
Catherine Gray is also the Co-Founder of the She Angels Foundation- that gives grants to female founded nonprofits that are helping women to thrive.
Women and Girls initiatives only get two percent of charitable giving. In both the for-profit world and the nonprofit world- women are coming up short.
Women can join the SheAngelsFoundation.org for a tax-deductible donation- details are on the site- and then once a member – you can enjoy the salons at members homes for free. The salons consist of amazing, accomplished women- and provide complimentary food, drink and entertainment. It is a wonderful sisterhood that helps so many women. We have provided grants the help women of domestic violence get back on their feet, the same for formerly incarcerated women, women veterans and more. Plus, women in Science, Blockchain and more.
In her Ted Talk, “Fund Women- Save The World”, Catherine talks about why women are underfunded. The people making the decisions in the investment world are typically white men- and because people tend to invest in people they identify with, it is no wonder most of the money goes to men. Catherine Gray, the host of Invest In Her, interviews Chaz Sandifer, the Founder| and CEO of theNEWmpls, Let Go Let Flow and Stories Behind the Menu. She started her health and wellness journey over 10 years ago, in search of her true authentic self, she found her passion for wellness that led her to build theNEWmpls, a company that promotes health and healing through community and organization partnerships. Her work has focused on serving a diverse population, and promoting racial health and equity through the lens of fitness, wellness, and nutrition.
Chaz has a background in Marketing and International Business, is a Certified group fitness instructor, Certified Life & Wellness Coach in Diabetes,Arthritis Prevention, and trauma healing. She offers individual coaching, consulting for organizations, fitness classes, meal-prep courses, and is the only Black woman who owns a farmers market in MN. She has coached over 700 men and women who are pre-diabetic and overweight. She offers custom health and wellness programming to support those who are working through trauma.
She hosts a weekly podcast called Fitness Revolution with Chaz. She is a public speaker who is frequently asked to speak on entrepreneurship, a balanced life, and racial health and equity. Chaz is a co-leader of the communications work group for Community Engagement to Advance Research and Community Health at the University of Minnesota. She also sits on the Board of Directors for 180 Degree’s and Women’s Venture and is now the President for the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce.
Chaz was an Executive Producer on her first documentary “Stories Behind the Menu”, that debuted and opened the 2023 Twin Cities Film Festival.
She is the honoree for MSP Journal Women in Business Award 2023, TRUST Leadership Award for women in healthcare 2023, and the Minnesota Twins Game Changer of the year 2023.
Chaz’s children are an integral part of her business and vision, they are the CFO and CMO. She is humbled and grateful for the work she gets to do in health & wellness.

Catherine Gray, the host of Invest In Her, interviews Dorthy Shore who was among the youngest female entrepreneurs in the state of Kentucky, launching an automotive advertising agency that she grew to be the largest woman-owned agency in the U.S. During her tenure, the ad agency won 100s of awards for creative distinction, including dozens of Telly Awards for excellence in video and television. After stepping down as the CEO of Miller Ad Agency and taking on the role of Chairman of the Board, Dorthy saw a need for a publication for women over 50, a market largely ignored by other media. PrimeWomen.com was born.
Fast forward to today. Not only has Prime Women become one of the most influential media outlets for mature women, the network is also poised to grow tremendously in 2024 with the launch of its own cable/satellite TV network focused on health, careers, relationships, beauty, and other topics that all women have in common. Dorthy’s ultimate goal is to seize not only the future for herself but for all women over 50.

Catherine Gray, the host of Invest In Her, interviews Máirín Murray, a tech innovator and ‘woman founder’ community champion with extensive knowledge of the start-up ecosystem in Ireland and beyond.
