    In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Scottish singer, formerly of the band H20, Ian Donaldson. Channa saw Ian performed live at new wave festival in Manila.   

    Previously signed by RCA with H20, Ian Donaldson has enjoyed a fruitful music career - heavily played by John Peel in the 1980’s. Their first single ‘I Dream to Sleep’ spent 16 weeks in the UK Top 40 charts, peaking at number 17.

    Ian has just returned from headlining a New Wave Concert at OKADA Manila in the Philippines in late July. Ian Donaldson will release his new single ‘The Alchemy of Us’ on 30 September 2022. Following on from his much talked about first single ‘All I Have Is Forever’ on Alan McGee’s label.

They have co-written, produced, and released three independent albums, the self- titled “The Ormidales",“These Little Dreams”, and  “Bijou Blue” as well as numerous singles and videos during the past few years.     The Ormidales work in universal themes and create music that comments on current social conditions.     The name Besomora is derived from Slavic mythology and draws inspiration from dark spirits and demons which Besomora say is a direct representation of the imagery they wish to portray and a reflection of their music. The band’s deep ties to their Eastern European background and their interpretation of melodic death metal are a refreshing and hard-hitting medley of all that is traditionally right in the melodic death genre. 
    Besomora have been working hard on their social media campaign, promoting themselves with regular updates on their progression and development as they worked towards the release of their second single, a cover of Kiss’ smash hit “I Was Made for Lovin’ You”.
