In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing the clarinet to reach grade 4 at primary school, to then put it down for 25 years, to then thinking about how we can incorporate it into our tech metal music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Converge, Axe to Fall Poison the Well, You Come Before You The Dillinger Escape Plan, Miss Machine These albums represent the metal vocals that made me decide to become a vocalist. The yell, scream and clean vocal style on YCBY, the punishing screams and big clean choruses on MM and the hardcore/emotive on ATF continue to inspire me to this day. Tell us why you chose this song. “Origin of Dreams” This is currently our most popular track and was the first song we wrote together with our new vocalist. It demonstrates a diverse range of sounds and shows that can write technical and intelligent music even on our first try as a complete line up. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Sharing the main stage with Animals as Leaders at Radar Festival 2019. The venue had huge crystal-like chandeliers above the crowd in front of the stage. It was truly a magical show, the crowd were sublime and we're so grateful for the opportunity. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Going on tour in Europe. We're working tirelessly on making the highest quality tech metal music we can to take us to the next level and perform abroad on the continent. We hope it won't be too much longer for this dream to become a reality.
