NIGHT'S AWAKENING
A Dark King Story
Fueled by dragon magic, the dark immortal warriors were never meant to feel human desire, much less fall in love. But when Guy, a member of an ancient order of shape-shifting warriors, meets Elena Griffin—a mere mortal whose beauty and blind ambition shakes him to his core—all bets are off…
Having left America to explore the Scottish Highlands, Elena suddenly finds herself lost in a dark cave—alone, injured, and utterly hopeless…until Guy appears from out of nowhere. Is she dreaming her own rescue when she falls into his arms? A man—and a passion—this strong is too good to be true. It's only a matter a time before she learns the truth about the flames in his heart. And the dragon in his soul…
This is a story of destiny and desire, magic and mystery, warriors and lovers.
These are the forbidden cravings of the Dark Kings.

A Dark King
WOW! What a book. Donna Grant you're the best. Dragons? Oh my. Write more PLEASE. These books are SMOKING.
A Made-for-TV Pilot Story
Much like the first book, great storyline and plot. Well-written. Couple of typos and “too steamy too-soon vibes. If you’re a fan of Scottish mythology, you’ll love this book. It’s a short, steamy and fun read.
Almost like the first pilot in a TV series. As the story unfolds, you get sucked into the magical world of Draegon, asking questions in your head as in, “what is going on?” And “Why?” in a good way.
Overall, great plot, love the background setting in Scotland and the magic of the Highlands. Some of the story is hard to follow if you’re not familiar with Scottish mythology. However, I really enjoyed the story line and the magic and fantasy of the characters. It’s a short, but good ride that builds into the next book. It’s well-written with Scottish elements. A couple of typos but overall, if you’re into magical, fantasies, with a touch of steamy romance where it involves sexy, muscular heroic men who find their woman while the plot unfolds, you’ll enjoy this short read. I’m a huge fan of “alpha men who saves the world and gets the girl” themes. I love happy endings. I love when love changes the dynamic of things. After all, love is what makes the world go round. :-)
