Walking but a lil funnier!!

I’ve been addicted to this for about 2.5yrs now! But if you’re looking for an in-depth game you can sit +play then this is not for you, it’s not that sort of game! This is a complimentary game, it’s essentially a pedometer with a few fun lil characters to collect +activities to do AS YOU WALK AROUND! All the bad reviews seem to want a proper game but it’s more a fitness aid. I’m obsessed, I have ADHD so getting small rewards or getting motivations to finish a challenge has really helped me get out there +walk more! Plus I’ve started going to different locations for walks which has enriched my experience, seeing so many new sights +it has let me prolong my motivation to keep walking!

It’s just Pokémon go but boring

I tried to play the game but after the tutorial it just got super boring
All you can do is just walk, check how much you’ve walked, plat flowers and play with your Pikmin but even that’s a stretch since all you can do is throw them, feed them nectar, and call them not to mention you need to walk 1,000 just to get ONE Pikmin I walked around my whole block and BARELY Broke 100 how an I supposed to make 1,000 AND have fun? At least walking huge amounts in Pokemon go is an ALTERNATIVE and not a requirement like in this game and the Pikmin do absolutely NOTHING besides give you more Pikmin. Like they could have at least added enemy’s that you could fight for stuff like using your Pikmin the defeat a bulborb and gain some more Pikmin or a new nectar like the red one or the purple one or have a flower that you could set certain Pikmin to to collect stuff over time so that you have INSENSITIVE go and walk around but it doesn’t have any of that it’s just a step count that has Pikmin in it that do NOTHING. All this time with no new game and this is what we get? Really? Metroid game looks great kirbys game is 3D and looks great Pokémon’s new games look great Pikmin get a bland step counter with Pikmin you can toss around and that’s it. (At least I HOPE this isn’t it and they might add more to it down the line but we can only wait and see)

Enjoyable, but has its issues

I have been playing this game for around 4 months now and I’ve been really enjoying it. Though, there are a few QOL changes that would make the game a more enjoyable experience. These being:

-Blooming flowers is fun but tedious due to the small radius you must walk in order to progress. I often find myself walking in circles in a small area which is quite embarrassing. I would like this to be changed, maybe by increasing the radius on where we must plant the flowers, or by adding a whole new mechanic to make it less tedious.

-Pikmin storage should be increased from 300 to a minimum of 500. Im level 39 and already finding myself running low on storage. Buying more storage is an option, however, the prices are absurd for such a small increase of 20 Pikmin. Either increase the max default storage, or lower the prices and increase the effectiveness of buying Pikmin storage.

-If you travel far distances often, you will notice how long it takes for some Pikmin to return with their decor. I went on a holiday and came back home and it took my Pikmin 70 days to return. This is just stupid. I understand the realism, but there is no excuse for such a wait time. I would like it for Pikmin to have a maximum return time of 7 days.

I look forward to what the team has in store for us! 🍀
