Imagine a world where...
· Your phone is too big for your hand
· Your doctor prescribes a drug that is wrong for your body
· In a car accident you are 47% more likely to be injured.

If any of that sounds familiar, chances are you're a woman.

From government policy and medical research, to technology, workplaces, and the media. Invisible Women reveals how in a world built for and by men we are systematically ignoring half of the population, often with disastrous consequences. Caroline Criado Perez brings together for the first time an impressive range of case studies, stories and new research from across the world that illustrate the hidden ways in which women are forgotten, and the profound impact this has on us all.

Discover the shocking gender bias that affects our everyday lives.

Fed up of making nicknames ,

A very interesting book on male comtrol

A book that has made me aware of why I am always uncomfortable in a car! Amongst many other things. It is not about victimhood, it is not griping or complaining. It is simply stating the facts of gender discrimination and lack of disaggregated data for women. When this difference means that you are not treated correctly because your symptoms of a heart attack is different from a man then it is a matter of life and death! If anything she is too kind about the political reasons about this. Women need equal representation, after all “ we hold up half the sky”! We need to change the default view so that is all about men! 50 50 would be good! We would create a better world if women had more say about their own lives!

Great content, very very poor audio quality

Great content, very very poor audio quality. There was a repeated shadow of sound that continued throughout the book.
The book itself though I would thoroughly recommend. Brilliant
