Cam’s experience in the turf industry goes back to when he was WACA curator, Ground Manager at Ascot and Belmont Park Race course and his current role at TurfcareWA. He was also heavily involved in the development of the turf used at Perth (Optus) Stadium. Cam explains the pressures in preparing for not only suitable wickets for Ashes and Test Series Cricket, but also event management and general operations of some of Australia's largest sporting facilities.
Cam also gives an insight to some of the challenges he now faces in ground management across a wide range of sporting and recreational spaces.
