Msduvall ,

Very informative

I’m really enjoying this podcast so far, though as another reviewer mentioned, the live broadcast via Rexburg is pretty subpar. Surely, that can be improved. Even GarageBand solved one of my problems. Fix that and it will be 5-star.

Off-topic: either these are the dumbest lunatics who have never seen or read a true crime case in their lives or they worried about being so reckless and sloppy because they really believed—and still believe—they are going to be some trifling deities and the laws won’t apply to them anyway…hence, Vallow’s incompetency finding. Just my opinion.

More Mysteries Please ,

The scripting is really antiquated. So hard to listen to!

The access to information, and editing together of the pieces of this story are very good, but the narration feels like something from 20/20 in the early 90’s. The voice and script of the narrator is really hard to listen to. She’s using a “broadcasting” voice, that feels like I’m listening to A.M. radio. Really hard to stay engaged. The source material was a home-run, and for them to blow it with the narrator is a real disappointment.

a fan of good movies ,

New hosts don’t know the case

This was a good podcast until they changed hosts, and the new hosts don’t seem to know the case. For example, on their first episode they said that Lori’s son Colby was Joe Ryan’s son. Not true, he was from her 2nd marriage, not 3rd (Joe Ryan). Lori’s been married 5 times. Then in the next episode they give their opinions about legal updates, with no understanding of the history of the case. You can sound like a professional journalist, but if you don’t know the case, you are not credible.
