From MSWs inception, I listened weekly to the mysterious, insightful and very funny AG & Co., breathing in their delicious imagery of Red Queenery and baboonish tweedle-dumb-dumbers with growing awareness of just how deep the rabbit hole goes. Until, I find I’m a grateful junkie! But to fully understand events today, listen to 2016-19 podcasts. As you dive into the looking glass, what once seemed mad as a hatter will become crystal clear.

Please refrain from saying at the beginning of every episode, “We have a lot to cover today.” We get it. There’s a lot going on. Just get down to it — and perhaps consider losing that doom bell in every intro. Just sounds gimmicky. On a more substantive note, the hosts don’t have much of a sense of urgency in their delivery. I suggest picking up the pace and being less afraid to give the horrid facts without feeling so restrained and smirky. This is serious stuff. Meet the moment. For “Jack,” the meandering style was okay. But now is a different place and time. Don’t be so timid about expressing yourself.
