When an unlikely flood carries a cracked pillar of stone from a nearby shrine right to her doorstep, it's clear the gods demand her service.
The man trapped inside the monolith is still alive, and Terah's reluctant task is to resurrect him, his godkiller of a sword--and his fury for vengeance.
Now, the gods are watching Terah, making her a pawn in their savage game. Her survival depends upon navigating a new world of peril and treachery, taking up a weapon, and making a fateful move of her own...

Adventure Awaits
First let me start by saying “Wow”. This is my first time reading a book from Erin Kellison. I was very impressed with her Gods, mortals and delightful creatures. I love the author’s premise behind this amazing world. I always enjoy a good romance series and this author has hit a home run. I like that this story doesn’t fit perfectly into what we seem to think is believable - isn't that why we choose to read fantasy books. The story is sensual, exciting, and action packed. The author gave life and meaning to each character so much that I couldn’t wait to see each chapter unfold. This a well written paranormal, romance, and suspense story. Open your mind and get ready to dive deep into some unique reading. A definite must read for fantasy lovers!
Strange and scintillating
This is a totally voluntary ARC review. My foray into fantasy is recent, and started with Ruby Dixon’ Aspect and Anchor series. In Erin Kellison’s newest series, the Stone God is an amazing, near-psychedelic immersion into a world where humans exist to serve the gods who reign in separate kingdoms and possess unique powers related to their aspects. It’s a world where divinity is divorced from both good and evil, and Terah, who thought she'd been granted an Indulgence to exempt her from service, soon finds that the gods make the rules, but break them just as easily. Her maiden voyage into chaos, cloak-and-dagger action, and divine attraction is spellbinding storytelling. I look forward to more dizzying actio, concealed warfare, and steamy seduction in the Book 2.
