Hero by Default

During random events you’ll find an invisible hero. No cape. No costume. No fame.

I appear when least expected, my timing impeccable. It’s almost as if I own a crystal ball.

Saving lives wasn't a choice I would have made for myself. Yet my heroic traits fell upon me quite by accident. Now, it has become an important part of my life. The problem is I can't seem to control this self-appointed mission, even if I wanted to. But some days, I wonder if my efforts are worth it when my recipients fail to recognize my efforts. Now, I must decide if I want to continue being a hero by default or return to civilian life.
