Publisher Description
NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continues her magical paranormal series where a town keeps its secrets, but an aging curse might just be their downfall.
The Christopher curse is one of legend—so old that every new generation knows they will be touched by it. With every spell muttered, every magical pull needed to save her town, Laurel Christopher knows she’s one step closer to burning to ash and leaving those she loves behind. She’ll fight with all she has to protect her people—and the man she loves—but she might not have enough strength remaining to save herself.
Jaxton Dark lost his best friend to the necromancer attacking Ravenwood but refuses to lose his mate to a curse that could take them both. He’s well aware of the loss calling them, but before he can stand up for those he loves, a betrayal cuts him to the core.
Sacrifice was always an inevitability when it comes to the curse that threatens their fate. Yet it’s only when the darkness makes a subtle and surprising move that star-crossed lovers, Laurel and Jaxton, will truly find out the meaning of who they could be and what they must give up to survive.

A Must Read Series!
5 Stars for Ravenwood Coven’s second book Dusk Unveiled! Jaxton & Laurel finally come together to fight the curse and darkness. He displays a certain sweetness and patience that is totally swoon worthy! A throughly enjoyable PNR. So many unexpected events pop-up in this fast paced novel, just fantastic! Everything is in place for an amazing conclusion to this trilogy in Evernight Unleashed. I can’t wait to read it!
Exciting from cover to cover
Dusk Unveiled is the hot and steamy book two in the Ravenwood Coven series. I’d recommend that you read book one, Dawn Unearthed first…because while each book features a different couple, the storylines blend into one another and create a continuous arc. Plus, it was darn great as well!
This time, it’s Laurel Christopher, the fire witch, who’s getting her story told, along with Jaxton, the Hawk shifter who loves her. The curse of the Christopher family is revealed, but nothing can be done to break it. Laurel’s flame is slowly eating her alive, but Jaxton and their friends are not about to give up on trying to break it. All while trying to fight the “big bad” that’s intent on taking over the town.
New friends, and enemies, are introduced into the fight, as well as a familiar face, long gone from Ravenwood. That’s a fun addition that will lead into the final book! Lauren and Paxton are on fire…no pun intended? Yeah, pun intended! She’s definitely my favorite witch and he is simply wonderful. The push/pull between them kept me entertained and turning pages. I was on the edge of my seat, and a curse word or two passed my lips for sure.
Carrie Ann Ryan recently pulled me back into the paranormal world, which I am so grateful for. I adore this genre and her contributions to it. I can’t wait to read the final book…I just hope my favorites are still standing!
