Heroic Measures
Jude and Parker are an interesting couple. I had to chuckle when the 31 yr old virgin Jude finally lost his virginity. Puff Daddy makes a few appearances which I love and Jude and Parker weave their way through social interactions and some of it is comical. Enjoyed the HEA in the end.
Jude and Parker
This book of the series IMO was is the best so far!! Jude and Parker rank right up there with my favorite couples of all time. Jude is shy but smart and sexy while Parker is confident and independent but has walls built around her heart so high. Will Jude be able to break down those walls?

Heroic Measures is the 6th book in the Blackbridge Security series, told in dual POV. This is Jude and Parker’s story and it’s a fantastic addition to the series. I’ve been waiting to read about Jude and this book did not disappoint!
Jude is the medic for Blackbridge and a bit of a book/research nerd, but a very sexy one, lol. He always has some knowledge to drop on the guys, even if they didn’t ask for it. Parker is best friends with Hayden from Calculated Risks, book 5. She’s outgoing and flirty, the complete opposite of Jude but she has a thing for the quiet, shy type.
I really enjoyed their story but there were times, a lot of times, I wanted to smack them both. While the chemistry was there and the time they spent together was more than satisfying, they were both so stuck in their heads when it came to their “relationship”. The push and pull was real in this book but when they both pulled their heads out, it was completely worth it. I can’t wait to see more of them in future books!
Thank you Ms. James for another amazing read!! From the ending I’m assuming Gaige is next and it seems like there’s another great story there!!!
