Harry Styles was just a couple weeks away from kicking off his Love On Tour when the pandemic hit. “It's obviously disappointing,” he tells Apple Music. “But ultimately it's not the most important thing.” Now he finds himself cooking, ordering in, getting some work done, and doing his best to not step on the toes of the friends he’s holed up with. “In the long run, it's what obviously makes everyone closer,” he says. “Later down the line, it's going to be like, 'Oh, do you remember that time we were all stuck inside?' And 'Oh, you were so annoying,' and all of that stuff.” Listening to classic soul and rock from the likes of Sam Cooke and The Zombies keeps his outlook about this period of self-isolation somewhat optimistic. “I think a lot of powerful music is going to come from this,” he says. “Because ultimately you have people who have a need to express themselves through music and writing and film and so many different ways who are now having a lot of extra time with no distractions to sit down and think and stay in their own head and think about everything they have to think about.” Check out this exclusive playlist of the songs Harry's listening to to keep things upbeat.
