As she reconnects with the Hallets, Eva tries to figure out how to start her life over. Then Eva is transported back to 1715, a time when smuggling was common and hidden Jacobites swarmed the coast. Lovely!
Glad I gave author another try. Didnt like Winter Sea bc too descriptive in the historical parts. This one was light and quick and so charming! Doubt Daniel would be so open minded about time travel, but its fantasy.

I loved this book 🙂 and the authors style of writing.
Charmingly endearing
Although it has obvious Outlander influences, Kearsley tells a masterful tale of love, loss and longing set in truly magical Cornwall. Fans of time travel tales will find this book satisfying.
