The Cult of Teal Swan with Documentarians of The Deep End Jon Kasbe and Bits Sola
Episode Notes
Teal Swan had a new documentary about her on Hulu called The Deep End. Teal Swan is a spiritual guru who uses new age ideas to help people with trauma and other mental health issues. While there are many questions about how Teal Swan helps people with their mental health as well as her net worth from her events and retreats, it's difficult to know if she's providing a positive service for people. The documentary had quite a bit of controversy when Teal Swan made response videos. So today, we chat with the creators of the Teal Swan documentary to see what it was like filming this series.

Battling the Progressive War on Fun with Noah Rothman
Episode Notes
Originally, right-wing conservatives were known for being stuck up prudes who couldn't have fun. Now, we're seeing a shift where people on the left have been cracking down on what is or isn't okay to say and do with comedy, food, clothing, and more. Today's guest is Noah Rothman who draws the parallels between modern-day progressives and the puritans of the past.

Great episode!
Great content but needs to give guests a chance talk more
I love the guests and content but am sometimes frustrated that many questions asked or responses given continually turn the focus back on the host. I appreciate that he’s survived addiction and other mental health challenges but wish he would give more space for guests to talk
Interesting conversations
Interesting conversations and insights with authors on a variety of topics.
