Good Ending To The Series
What a great ending to this series. Finally all Carson’s secrets and history are revealed. When Carson meets special education teacher Grace the attraction is instant but they want different things in their lives. The Brothers of Fire and Grace force Carson to see that he needs to open his heart and let others in to be truly happy. Ms Shay packs so much action and the interworkings of firehouse in her stories, it makes for an interesting read.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. The entire series is one that shouldn't be missed. I feel so connected to them. I hate to see this one end. I savored each word. Turned the pages slowly. I didn't want to finish as it would be saying good-bye to some really great friends.
While you could read this as a stand-alone and enjoy it, I highly recommend reading them in order. The dynamics of the Brothers of Fire really grow and shine in each book.
This is written in a dual POV format. Getting into the characters' thoughts really help me to understand and connect with them so much better. That is really necessary with Carson. He is the most stand-offish of the group. In fact, he left the group back in the beginning book (I think but I have a horrible memory!) I really need to re-read this series, one right after the other.
I have been looking forward to Carson's story for awhile now. I could not wait to see who he would be attracted to. Ms. Shay didn't disappoint with this story. Carson was true Carson. It was a challenge for Grace (she really was full of grace!) I adored this story. I loved the Epilogue that was included at the end. Reading about the other Brothers of Fire and their families in the last additional year, really was a great ending to the series. I am very sad to see the end of this wonderful series.
There were some sexy times BUT the author really glossed over the details. Saying that I would highly recommend this to anyone of consenting age.
