Sophie & the Broken Things -- the alt-country band led by singer/songwriter Sophie Gault -- can conjure the spirits of Americana past, whether it's the flinty outlaws of the 1970s or the tuneful roots rock of Sheryl Crow. Gault isn't a nostalgist, she's building upon tradition with Delusions of Grandeur, the full-length debut she and the Broken Things delivered in 2022.
