Really cool new app

The app has been completely overhauled and it’s so much better. The old one had some issues and I didn’t hate it but this one doesn’t have any of those issues. It’s visually pleasing, the playback works great, I can pause it while my phone is locked and it picks right back up when I unpause. I really like the new social media style feed, getting to see Tony’s thoughts more often is pretty cool. Overall looks great works great. And of course the podcast is one of my favorites.

Couple tidbits of feedback

The podcast is dope-he’s one of the best. The app itself is quality, but wish it did a few things. They don’t have a search function., haven’t found a way to do an index search of a topic or word in title. Also, I want to be able to toggle back and forth from the epi chat to the episode index. You have to scroll to episode 319 from the newest episodes. No way to type and skip through them all.

The show is a 10 out of 10 but this app is another story. Functionally it is broken episodes don’t load well. Scrubbing and touch responsiveness overall is reminiscent of an app from 10 years ago. I have to say I have used wrapper apps ones that are more website than app that function better. Social functions are basic just conversations at random circa early 2000’s chat room. Social stuff didn’t need to be apart of this app with a well established discord that it has. All the app needed to do was be better than castos and in my opinion it’s not. I’d much rather prefer a member feed in Apple Podcasts over this. I’ll still use it still support but had to be honest.

Sorry you feel this way. Most people agree that this app is a much better experience than the third party app we were using as it was pretty much unusable for Android users. And providing an exclusive space for members to socialize amongst each other we feel is always a great idea. With there being so many apps that fans connect with the show on, this gives us a centralized location to where we can prioritized our attention and interactions as well.
