    Episode 187: Ganesh Venkataramanan

    Episode 187: Ganesh Venkataramanan

Thank you for tuning in for another episode of Life’s Best Medicine. Ganesh Venkataramanan, pen-named Geeves, is a graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology. He works as a Vice President at a Software technology company. With his background in science and experience in working with highly analytical teams, Ganesh found that scientific explanations, while fine in themselves, lacked depth and human meaning. Though his worldview in college was atheistic, a series of chance encounters various with people and books led him to accept Christianity as the truth.
In this episode, Brian and Ganesh talk about Ganesh’s upbringing and how he became an atheist and how he afterwards became a Christian, the compelling evidence for the legitimacy of Christ and His message, what it means to live with a Christian worldview, how a highly intellectual person can come to be a believer in God, why the testimony of the apostles—and Paul in particular—is so compelling, the moral argument for God, the 2 most common reasons why a person might be an atheist, why theism explains reality better than atheism, and how Ganesh’s Hindu family reacted to his conversion to Christianity.
