Gorgeous Story with All the Feels!
Saving Zane is a gorgeous love story with all the feels! Author Kaci Rose has crafted another masterpiece, highlighting the very real struggles that military families go through with grace, compassion, respect, and honor. Zane is a beautiful human being with a heart of gold who has found himself down but not out after years of military service. Carlee is a sweet and kind artist with a passion for helping others and sharing her gifts with the world. I just love how the two of them meet and strike up an instant rapport. Their story builds slowly and sweetly as they each face trials individually while building a relationship together. I laughed. I cried. I smiled. I cheered them on and kept rooting for them from start to finish. Oakside is such a special and amazing place, and I just love each and every couple in this series, getting to know them and then revisiting each couple as they pop up in others stories. This book, heck this entire series, is a must read if you like heartfelt, realistic romance.

Obstacles!
Zane is a former SEAL. He was discharged to a therapeutic hospital to help him acclimate to life outside the military. Zane is now deaf and really trying to get used to his new life. At the hospital, he meets Carlee. She is an art therapist there. Carlee and Zane develop a close relationship.
After some life-altering news, Carlee is afraid that Zane will not want to share her new life with her. Zane is afraid that he will not fit into Carlee’s new life.
This book was amazing! I fell in love with Zane. He came a long way throughout the book!.

Zane and Carlee
What an emotional read, great characters that portrayed strength when dealing with loss, disappointment and being knocked down by life. Loved the supporting characters as they all lend support, care and comfort in time of need. Thought it was wonderful in how honest they were with young Liz, by carefully explaining the situation and taking her opinions into consideration. Good ending as with time and effort situations worked themselves out, but with caution.
