45. The Night the Lights Went Out in Alabama: Mont Highley's Body is Found in a Grain Silo | 2003
On January 14th, 2004, a decomposed body was discovered inside an abandoned grain silo in Macon County, Alabama. Using dental records, investigators were able to identify the body as a missing 33-year-old Alabama man who had disappeared only 47 days earlier.

8-year-old Jennifer Schuett disappeared from her bed in the middle of the night, seemingly abducted by a stranger crawling through her window on August 10th, 1990, in Dickinson, Texas. Fourteen hours later she was found alive but badly beaten and sexually assaulted. Despite remembering almost everything about the man who'd abducted her, Jennifer's case went cold for almost 20 years.

Some chatter, but the chatter is about the cases and players. Not what their co-host made their kids for dinner last night . Big difference!
Unprofessional and annoying to listen to
I listen to a lot of podcasts — including true crime — and this was easily the worst. The “hosts” are unprofessional, make ridiculous amateur psychology remarks, get facts wrong, use offensive stereotypes and sound (maybe they are?) like 8th grade girls recording at a sleepover. There are many better podcasts out there.
