captivating and thrilling
I tend to steer away from mafia themed stories because it is not my cup of tea. But this story was so captivating and really gets under your skin. Sophie's father was in the mafia, and her mother made sure to distance Sophie from all-things mafia. Joey is the son of the Don, and as such is a mafia prince. Many years after Sophie has escaped the mafia, she has an encounter with Joey and their connection is undeniable. The tension between them and the chemistry makes her doubt whether staying away is the best option, specially when her heart and body want to intimately close to Joey. I absolutely loved this story and could not put it down!

The grammar is awful; it’s like no one proofread it before publishing.
A wonderfully unique mafia romance
Sophie Palazzo never got over the death of her father, a mafia soldier. She carefully avoided contact with “the family” for years until mafia prince Joey LaTorre came back into her life.
