Dersaadet Apartmanı

Altan, who carries out a significant clean energy project in US came suddenly to his childhood city Istanbul, cause of the traffic accident which lost his parents. Living in a concrete jungle, Altan starts to lose his ability to distinguish reality from fantasy and his whole life becomes a GO game where he fights with construction machines in the city. A small turtle struggling to live its naive life in the city and an activist radio show host Deren; become his companions in his war against the machines in a city which has lost its past, its nature and identity. "Dersaadet Apartment” is the story of emotional human trauma in an alienating fast-changing urban environment. The film questions the man’s role in changing the face of the earth, poverty and environmental degradation.
