At some point, most of us think about the possibility of starting our own private practice. The first, and probably the most important question, is WHY? In this episode, I discuss the two major motivators to start your own practice: autonomy and money. Autonomy takes on many forms including the ability to: practice medicine the way you want, control your schedule, manage your staff, decide whether to take insurance, manage expenses and more. And, of course, I talk about the elephant in the room. Can you make more money if you own your own private practice? The answer--an emphatic YES!
